In the mix at the start
Out on Fat Molly today for the first frostbite race of the year. Great, moderate conditions allowed for a fast race despite the small sail plan we carried. We got in a great spot at the start, but ended up getting rolled over by several boats and had to fight for clear air. We made some back on two reaching legs, but with a #3 up in the low teens didn't have quite enough gas to keep up with the bigger headsails. All in all a great, clean race, despite a lackluster result, and a good first effort around the course for the team on Fat Molly.
