Out for the first time today on Speed Square in cold, heavy conditions. The boat is powerful and responsive, and I worked hard to do my duties as crew and keep us going fast. We fought through several races as we figured out the boat and learned a lot along the way. After the spinnaker sheet parted I did a bit of MacGyvering to get us ready to hoist on the next leg. An athletic, wild ride for sure - much to learn!
