10-12 kt W to SW wind. Made it from LC to thimble shoals light in one hour close hauled, with boat speed averaging 7-8 kts. Turned east close hauled to return but wind had shifted to S and ran back and forth across the southern Bay. Sigh. Had a nice wine, cheese, and cracker lunch underway. Finally motored home.
