Today is the 750th Consecutive Day On The Water for me. My first challenge was to complete every day of the year in 2023. There were many obstacles but I was able to persevere and completed 365 days. My second challenge was when it was brought to my attention that 2024 was a leap year and had 366 days. I really didn't think that I would be able to do another full year but somehow I pulled through and completed another 366 consecutive days for a total of 731. My third little personal challenge was to end my streak on a number that I was comfortable with. After some thought, knowing that I could not do another full year, (for several reasons), I decided to end my streak on Day 750. Well, today is the day. It was a really yucky day, but my Buddy Tim decided to come along with me to to support my decision. We went out to the Bay but there wasn't much going on (other than the rain) so we decided to take a ride up to Baltimore. We went up to the area of the Key Bridge and got some photos of some Ships at the cranes. The ride home was a bit rougher than the ride up because the wind had really kicked up. There is a polar blast that is coming through the next couple of days and if it's as cold as they say it's going to be, I feel like the Creeks and Rivers will be freezing up and will prevent me from going out any more for the rest of the week anyway.
CHEERS TO DAY 750...
