Today was absolute PERFECTION! I have completed a personal goal today and did it, as a sailor at heart, on the Schooner Woodwind for her last day of the 2025 season, AND we sailed in glorious conditions to Thomas Point Lighthouse!! YES! :-)

I set myself the personal goal this year of matching my high water mark on the water from last year - 175 days - and many  of those days at the end of last year were definitely hard earned as it was a FRIGID December 2024, so I decided not to have to do that again so late in the year! Props to David Sites for helping out with many a ride in December, 2024 after I had put my boat on the hard and encouraging me to make those 175 days.... 

Being on the Schooner Woodwind is such a treat - it was the absolutely perfect way to end this personal goal - being with Captain Jen and getting to the lighthouse to boot!

At this point, any more days on the water will be, as Molly Winans says, GRAVY.... :-)
