Almost turned around and went home because of the heat, humidity and very light winds when I arrived at the marina. Glad I didn't!
Shortly after heading out the winds picked up and the heat wasn't bad at all. Back and forth in Willoughby Bay for a couple hours, all the while watching building clouds to the west. But nothing in the forecast when I checked. By the time I anchored on the east end of the bay it was obvious, storms were coming. Fortunately the worst looking clouds went both north and south. It did shower fairly heavy for about 10 minutes, then sunshine and a much cooler breeze. It was comfortable through the evening.
