Set out to do some batten alteration on RAINBOW and then row around the corner to fish the cove. Partial success, but as I was gathering fishing stuff I realized I had forgotten my wallet, left it home on the dining room table. Great. I was running on fumes and there was no way I'd make the 30+ miles home. So I set out from RAINBOW with my gas tank and a funnel and figured I'd devise a way to transfer a gallon or two into the car. Luckily a club member was there and I got a 20 dollar loan so the prospect of spilling petrol all over the parking lot was quashed.
Getting old is so. much. fun!
Shame too, because it was a gorgeous day.................
