With Dion out of town and the Wednesday night series winding to a close, we put James on the helm for what ended up being the most hectic Wednesday in recent memory. We pulled off an extremely tight start, getting pushed up and pushing the next boat so high they snagged the RC boat's anchor line, and that calamity set the tone for the race. Two spinnaker sets and douses in the first leg, a clean rounding, and a painfully slow upwind leg. We got good breeze from the back of the fleet and managed to finish ahead of all but one boat. Gotta take the wins where we can, even if they're from unsual circumstances.
After the race, Dewey and I headed over to Bad Cat for an overnight delivery down to Deltaville.
