Tight racing in A1 fleet
Back on Bad Cat once again for another great Stingray Point Regatta. We sailed the boat down in uneventful conditions Wednesday night and got in at Fishing Bay YC Thursday morning. After a relaxing day hanging out around camp, we got out on the racecourse Friday for a distance race in light-ish conditions. We had a great day and managed to finish with line honors from the back of the fleet. On Saturday and Sunday Michael was able to join us, and we enjoyed more breeze and competitive racing with the locals, ultimately resulting in a third place overall for the weekend. As always, the folks at Fishing Bay put on an exceptional event, with delicious food, fun parties, and three great days on the water. We headed home Sunday evening, and motored in a breezy delivery back up to Solomons, where we arrived early Monday morning.
