A spectacular moon during Memorial Day weekend 2013.
The Chesapeake Bay Sabre Association (CBSA) held its season opener rendezvous on the Wye River during Memorial Holiday weekend when the wind was blowing perfectly for everyone headed east, cruisers and racers.
Our hosts, Jerry & Christine Cully, welcomed over 25 members and ensured a lovely feast and post-party raft up were enjoyable on the waters of the Wye. CBSA even enjoyed a private showing of the full moon as it gave a spectacular showing on Saturday evening.
The next CBSA rendezvous will be our annual Margaritaville raft-up hosted by Rick & Eva Hill in Crab Creek off the South River on June 22. As always, CBSA welcomes all Sabre enthusiasts, both sail and power.
