Jeanneau Sailboat Owners Prepare for the DelMarVA

The Jeanneau Sailboat Owners Association members get out and about in summer. The Jeanneau Sailboat Owners group gets out and about in summer.

More wind and another great trip for the Jeanneau Sailboat Owners (JSO) over Memorial Day Weekend.

Flexibility is key.  Facing projected wind gusts to 30 knots and 3-5 foot Bay seas for their overnight Saturday training exercise sail to Solomon's Island, the hardy JSO participants postponed the overnight to Sunday night and instead gathered at Olde Towne Marina in Annapolis for a night of reverie, great food, tasty beverages and terrific conversation.

On Sunday the group set out southbound to nowhere to learn and practice overnight sailing skills (watch-standing and scheduling, radio communications with commercial vessels, etc.) in preparation for a DelMarVa in June.  It was an incredibly beautiful night with a full moon and decent sailing for most of the trip.  More events at jsogroup.org and don’t forget JSO members receive an exclusive 10% discount on all Jeanneau parts.
