ESSA Sailors who participated in the 40th Governor’s Cup, August 2013
As the fall season approaches, it is time for the Eastern Shore SA to get ready for exciting fall events, many on weekends. While weekday racing continues for both fleets weekend events increase. The first is the Deal Island Captains Cup on Labor Day followed by the Wild Goose Chase on the Choptank on September 21 and the Choptank Cup, premier event of the Choptank Fleet, on October 12. Here is the rundown on what’s happening:
September 1: Deal Island events/Captains Cup
September 9: Bridge Meeting – Greig’s Home
September 15: Tangier Frost Bite series begins
September 20: Wild Goose Chase - Choptank
October 10: Bridge Meeting
October 12: Choptank Cup
October 13: Grey Goose Race, Tangier
October 27: Fun Race / Year End Party - Tangier
November 3: Fun Race – Tangier
November 7: Bridge Meeting
November 23: Awards Dinner
