The Windjammers of the Chesapeake is celebrating its 50th year.

On September 7, the Commodore's cocktail party was a success with old and new members in attendance. Several ASC sailors joined us and we were happy to have them. People came by water, land, and paddle. The weather gods were so kind to us with sun and wind. New commodore Kathleen Hazlehurst Knust was so pleased to meet Frederick Hecklinger, a founding member of the club. He shared wonderful stories with us.

Please join us at our lectures this coming season, Gary Jobson is our March speaker. We are dangling a carrot in front of you, so you can drool about our special speaker for February. We will place hints online and in SpinSheet
