This group of members from The Sailing Club at Tilghman Island is asking to do it again!
The Sailing Club, Inc. Board of Trustees is very busy during January and February preparing for the upcoming sailing season. The schedule will include training and cruising trips. Board trustees serve a one year term and officers serve two year terms, so that each year there are fresh faces and new ideas. The board looks forward to another great season of sailing.
SOCIAL TIME - If we can’t sail in February, it’s time for a Raft Up on land! Club members and friends are invited to gather February 23rd at Thatcher McGee’s in Denville, NJ starting at 4:00 pm. The Irish pub atmosphere is perfect for a late winter social event.
ANNUAL MEETING - The club’s social committee is also busy planning the annual All - Members Meeting and Luncheon. Scheduled this year as a Sunday afternoon luncheon - March 30, 2014 at the Somerset Hills Hotel. Trip leaders will set up displays and provide talks during the luncheon and answer any questions. The 2014 Sailing Season will be busy and include both 2-3 days trips, as well as longer trips to more distant places.
