Welcome to the Dickerson Owners Association! For those of us who are not sailing to far away ports of call, we meet annually on the Chesapeake Bay–usually in the historic town of Oxford where Michener wrote his famous book Chesapeake, and Robert Morris, who was a principal financier of the revolutionary war, established his famous Inn.

The Annual Dickerson Rendezvous (June13-15 this year) is a gathering of our classic boats, scheduled every Fathers Day Weekend so we can remember when we are supposed to get together. A typical plan consists of a Parade on Friday afternoon, picnic hors d’oeuvres party on Friday night, a race on Saturday, and an awards banquet on Saturday evening at the Tred Avon Yacht Club. In Sept., we gather on the West River for a “Western Shore Roundup” and “sea stories swap”.

We have a fabulous Dickerson Owners Directory, updated every year, which contains information on over 140 Dickerson owners that we know. With this directory, you can locate Dickerson owners in your area and even find “lost Dickersons”!  With the new “yellow pages” section you can get special information on where to obtain hard to get Dickerson parts and suppliers. Also,  the web site  provides information on the Association, current happenings, or any assistance you may want.

For any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Commodore, Dave Fahrmeier or Joe Slavin, [email protected] .

Welcome Aboard! We hope to see you soon on the water with us.

May you have fair winds and calm seas!
