When someone stays at your friends VRBO and they want to go out on the bay on a beautiful winter day you oblige
Racing Team: Michael-Anne Ashford
We didn't plan to honor Jimmy Buffett when we chose the outfit but it certainly worked
Fun times learning the sport and umpiring
Great team, great fun, great result!
Definitely a nailbiter but always fun to push the limits on and off the course.
Corinthian yacht club always rolls out the red carped on and off the water for this amazing event
J world and SSA at it again on Thurs nights
Seems to be a little damp more than it doesn't for this party
First bullet in a big event and not too shabby of a finish overall.
Some fleets make you wanna put out a row of stand off bouys.
4 fleets, 5 races, and don't forget about the beer toss at the last finish - get er done! Come out and play next year, we will be there waiting.
If you're gonna do race committee instead of sail, do it with the commodore of the competing club on a super sweet boat
Now I stand 0 for 2 on finishing this one.
100 yards from the finish isn't a good time to check the depth near the shore.
Will 2023 be the year???
What a great regatta! New experience, new crew, new boat and new event. Despite never sailing together before it was one of the more quiet and competent boats I've sailed. Oh, and the party! :)
Not having an engine to get to the start was quite the hinderance, thankfully many fleets awaited our 20 min late arrival by sitting on the start line trying to get across. It isn't always a great race, but its a good party and cause none the less.
The parade was a success, the start no so much thanks to the hurricaine. Very fun to be on the A2B committee this year. Look forward to all the fun between now and 2024!
How is it possible this is my first year doing this oh-so-fun end to the week series? Oh, yes, I will be back!
It was more fun to tell people you were sailing in the NOOD. The HHSWR just doesn't have the same ring to it. Parties were better with the former regatta as well
short races, warm nitghts, good rum drinks and friends. what's not to love?
J105's keeping it fun out there
is it a "series", maybe not, but it should be.
It was cold when it wasn't cancelled. It was more fun when we were younger. Bring back 2 daily races!!!!
light and shifty day #1 followed by a looooong 5 race day.
Fun day of practice and fun but challenging racing with Valhalla sailing project
2 people, 2 bridges ...Hmmm, Rte 50 to severn river or severn river to Rte 50? Decisions, Decisions
Turns out both were right with the winning boats finishing within minutes of eachother going opposite directions
completed a very slow 333 miles of sailboat racing on water that tastes like water
2v2 women's team race regatta.
So...Much...Fun!
Wet, cold, hail, and not downwind as predicted made this a challenging race. Still glad I did it and met some new folks along the way.
Weekend fun. Not so much wind Saturday but Sunday sent it
Beautiful day for a regatta...and the beer boat at the finish was a success
25th wedding anniversary party for our Chicago boat crew owners
Wahoo! What a ride down...and ugh what a slog back. Thanks to the great crew of Windborn for a fun time
Best racing on the bay is back. See you Thursday nights
Sailing with college buddies and family is the best!
Hopefully not as many cancelled races this year. Good to be back on the water for this fun series. Got to play with friends for seies #1, Ultimate 20 launched just in time for second series
upwind rules
5th year wedding anniversary spent on race committee together handing out beer to competitors - EPIC!
The Chicago to mackinac race was cancelled but we still got together for the start
J world thursday night racing series
Asked "how do you choose your marina?"
