Sailed Friday with one of the Special Olympics Athetes aboard my DS along with the regatta organizer from Special Olympics. That was the practice day and we had two DS out.
Saturday and Sunday we raced and I had an athlete and his sailing partner with me. We won many of the races and won the DS portion of the regatta.
The event will be held again in July of 2026!
Four DS participated and I orchestrated SSA's participation in the event and will again next year.
