In honor of National Rum Day, always a sailor's favorite, here are recipes for Bermudian rum drinks: the rum swizzle and dark n stormy.
Rum Swizzle Ingredients:
1.5 oz Gosling's Black Seal Rum
2 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. orange juice
Dash of genadine
Two dashes of bitters
Garnish with orange wheel
& don't forget the Goslings float to top her off!
And the one that most Chesapeake sailors already know how to make, a dark n stormy (much easier)
Dark n' Stormy Ingredients:
1.5 oz Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
Gosling’s Stormy Ginger Beer
METHOD: In a tall glass filled with ice add 4 – 5 oz of Gosling’s Stormy Ginger Beer and top with Gosling’s Black Seal Rum. Garnish with a lime wedge (optional).
