Annapolis sailors are getting ready for a big and potentially wet and breezy Helly Hansen Annapolis NOOD Regatta, starting Friday, May 5 through sunday May 7, presented by Sailing World and hosted by Annapolis Yacht Club. The one thing the 2017 edition won't be is boring, as one-design sailors are showing up in droves.
This is the biggest one-design regatta we've seen in a long time--the biggest OD keelboat regatta in the U.S.--and there's still time to sign up! (that means YOU racer-cruisers for the North Sails Rally Saturday, May 6, as well as other stray one-design sailors)

As of now, there are:
29 J/22s---including ones from Michigan and Ontario
24 J/80s---including ones from California and New Hampshire
22 J/105s---including ones from Bermuda and Toronto
44 J/70s---including ones from Texas and Vermont
and a bunch of other OD divisions that have from six to 14 boats lined up. Check out the numbers for yourself.
