Mount Gay Rum Red Cap Photo of the Week

Congratulations to this week’s winner of the Mount Gay Rum Red Cap Photo of the Week Contest, Al Lawrence, who writes: “This hat was given to me by a good friend who was a member of the Stamford Yacht Club and an avid sailor back in 2005. The hat was part of the Yacht Racing Association of Long Island Sound championship that year. Sadly, he lost a battle with cancer a few years back. The hat has been with me ever since and has accompanied me on numerous sailing trips and beaches around the world: Fiji, Kauai, Belize, the Grenadines, St Martin, and up and down Long Island Sound to the Cape and Islands countless times. It is heading for Mallorca next Saturday. It’s most commonly seen on Martha’s Vineyard beaches every summer. It goes without saying that the only rum in my bar since 1982 has been Mt Gay, and only served over tonic and ice with a fresh lime.” Submit your Mt.
