New and Exciting 2019 Annapolis Sailboat Show: SpinSheet VIDEO Roundup

Miss Our Sailboat Show Videos? Here They Are

In case you missed SpinSheet’s videos from the 50th anniversary U.S. Sailboat Show in Annapolis, October 10-14, here they are. It was a banner year for SpinSheet videos for many reasons, but above all, there were some extremely cool and innovative boats at the show, which is not only a Columbus Day tradition in Annapolis, but a significant reunion for industry experts, cruising sailors, boat buyers, and sailing enthusiasts from all over the country.

Also, we had the awesome opportunity to interview Riley and Elayna, the YouTube sensations from Sailing La Vagabonde, which was a pleasure. They are absolutely as cool as you think they are.

Although she was behind the camera rather than the “star” of the videos you see here, Lauren Mahoney, SpinSheet’s marketing guru, acted as primary videographer and editor and so deserves the credit for making them so interesting to watch. While many of us were walking the docks in the sunshine at the boat show, she was editing video footage at her desk. Thank you, Lauren!

SpinSheet’s associate publisher Chris Charbonneau captured some of the video and helped to orchestrate the interviews, so thanks go to him as well.

Molly Winans, who did two of the interviews you see here, has been SpinSheet’s editor for 11 years and part of the editorial team for 15 years, as well as an active sailor in Annapolis.

Originally from Newport, RI, Geoff Ewenson, who acted as our boat reviewer extraordinaire, is a professional sailor and coach based in Annapolis. His knowledge of boats, how they’re constructed, and how they sail give him a unique perspective, which many viewers found insightful. Thank you for your hard work and time for these interviews, Geoff!
