C&C30 Practice Day Video

The C&C30 is a new design that is making a great impression on the Chesapeake Bay sailing scene, as evidenced by this last weekend's Annapolis Fall Regatta.

The crew at T2P.tv got out with the C&C30 One Design fleet on Thursday, October 22, in advance of the Storm Trysail Club's Annapolis Fall Regatta.

There were nine C&C30s participating in the regatta. Dan Cheresh's Extreme2 from Saugatuck, MI sailed with Morgan Reeser as tactician and dominated the class. Walt Thirion's Themis with Geoff Ewenson onboard took second. ""This class is great, I love this boat," said Cheresh, who is a past 1D35 champion. "The competition is always tough, and there's more to learn all the time because the boat is so new to all of us. But we're having great fun with it, and I'm really happy to be back in the game."

Final results, after three days of racing:

  1. Extreme 2, Dan Cheresh 9.5 pts
