Crewed for Susan on a sonar and had a great time. Then helped Tom get the transmission properly fixed on Akimbo, and took it for a lovely test sail with him and Kirstin. Super day.

Took #9 out with James and Melanie. Topping lift completely destroyed by camp kids, took a while to jury rig. Pretty fun other than the terrible shifty flaky wind and brief torrential downpour. My new inflatable pfd didn't go off though! My vhf did register water however.
Was nervous about it but had an awesome time and think I did a good job delegating and letting crew do almost everything. Had to bail during first docking because wind shifted but then did an ok plan b.
Anchored out near Cantler's after an awesome dinner. Amazing trip over w/15-20kt wind, 3-5ft waves coming through the bay bridge. Had to motor sail back sadly though.
Took some pictures but had to come back in much sooner than expected because of low-ish wind + extreme heat index. Will be back out later to prep the cruiser for weekend trip.
Great sailing day. First took a J22 out for an almost bridge run, stopped back at home for water and snacks, and got back out on Akimbo for an awesome couple of hours sailing, then docked in canton for the first Thursday concert.
Lots of docking. Also shoving off and getting back to the tiller. Pretty ok with downwind close quarters behind the rotting pylons at this point.
Went out with Barb & James. All went well until re-launching for another docking practice. J's foot went through the end of the dock and he barely got it out and scrambled onboard. V tricky maneuvering back to dock. Feeling extremely anxious about what would have happened to his leg if there were more wind.
