Last Wednesday night if the season.  I am already thinking about April 2021.  While Covid19 will not be gone, we have mastered mask wearing and social distancing.

Another great day.  We sailed to Middle ground light first under spinnaker.  The wind was supposed to lay down but it built to 25kts.  That was too much for Liz B, Ray N and I with the 150 up. So we went bare headed ( thanks Ray) and put up the 100.  We took off from that point and walked the boats around us.  We surfed under the jib and main at some undocumented super speed from Thimble Shoals Light to Fort Monroe.

We were 1st in C class and 4 the overall. A "smoking" great day.

Lucky enough to run races for high school Sailors on Mill Creek at Fort Monroe fir Youth Sailing Virginia. It is great to see sailors from all over Hampton Roads with 18 boats on the water. They learn quick to stay on the correct side of a starting line when you pull out the "I" flag.

Come check out the Mill Creek venue. There is nothing better on the east coast. Thank you to the city of Hampton and the Fort Monroe Authority.

Thank you to Joan Patterson for the photo.
