On the fourth of July, we ride in Robert and Kathryn Kelly's center console boat to Norfolk VA to watch fireworks. It was a beautiful night.

HYC has racers serve as race committee during the season fir Wednesday night racing. It is a great day to learn the challenges of race committee and makes sailors much more appreciative of those that do Race Committee for our races. It is much harder to race without the many race committee volunteers on the Chesapeake Bay.

This was a race from off Willoughby bank to the Chesapeake Light. We sailed it on the Bowman 46 Castanet owner by Neil Ford. It was a great sail to the light and we were becalmed on the return at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay.
