Circling Mill Creek
One of the three Youth Sailing Virginia Typhoons.
Drove around Mill Creek to break in a new Tahatsu 3.5. For the initial break in on Mill Creek a YSV Typhoon was used. It was a good motor test driving 4.5 NM.
Gratis (AKA Rattler) which is one of the three Youth Sailing Virginia Typhoons worked great. With 3 more donations of Cape Dory Typhoons, YSV will have 6. We chose the boat as they look cool and only draft 2.6', about wqivilent to a FJ. Mill crrek is charted at 3' - 4' so the Typhoons work great.
They have proven to be a great learn to sail boats for adults and groups of kids.
It was a beautiful winter day at Fort Monroe.
