Started doing a training but weather moved in and headed back to the dock. I'd rather be at the dock wishing I was out there than being out there wishing I was at the dock.

Super hot! I do believe there is a red tide out there because the water looked red. I could see a line at the boundary of the red and green water.
Caught the early tide out to the bay with a SW wind. Great sail till the wind died and the tide turned. Guess that's why we have motors.
Great group of students and a fun class!
I am so lucky to have a job teaching sailing! Sail Nauticus offers the basic keel boat course. Fun meeting new sailors and introducing them to the world of sailing.
Teaching at Sail Nauticus this weekend so i decided to take the boat and spend a few nights at Waterside marina rather than ride my bike in every day.
Nice sail with good NW wind. Only ran aground once. Putting the main up right out of Little Creek and go too close to shore. Bumped once. Chart says 11 ft. Been touching bottom a lot close to shore where I used to be able to go.
Headed out in iffy weather, turned back and got in just in time.
Doppler radar doesn't give the whole story. Caught in a downpour. Felt good.
Hot, hot, hot! Did two new member orientations back to back today. Thank goodness for Gatorade!
