Just started sailing down the channel at Little Creek and the dolphins put on quite a show for me. Jumping in the air and following the boat. Never gets old!

Teaching ASA 101 in March can be very tricky. Some days it's blowing 15-20kts out of the north, others there's barely a zepher. Did I mention cold?

Finished a boat project then went out to meet Heidi on her SUP. She was thankful for a coconut water I handed her.

I guess we're allowed to add up to 10 work days toward out 100. I normally wouldn't count those because there are so many but I have to add this one because I am so proud of my little Atomic 4, the little engine that could! She is also Moyer Marine's Miss October 2009 pin-up!

I am starting a new gig at Freedom Boat Club training new members. I know, it's power boats but I love the concept and the company. The people who work here are friendly and very customer service orientated. Very refreshing!

Most EPIC whale watch we have ever been on! Breeching humpbacks left and right. We also did swim with the whale sharks in La Paz and a sunset sail. 5 days on the water and it was warm!

While raising the main (genny out for repairs) in the channel by the base at Little Creek the patrol boat cut in front of me to shoo me away. Wind was honking and I had to stop raising the main before it was all the way up, Beared away to avoid collision with the patrol boat and the loose halyard gets caught in the mainsheet block at the base of the mast. Uggg! Dropped the traveller and headed down the channel and noticed 2 shackles on the luff slides for the main broke. End of sail. Thank goodness for Sailrite! Ordered exact replacements.
