Today was the best sail of the season
Evening training/rsefresher sail for SAIL byond Cancer, Annapolis, on the Anneliese.
I practised heaving to, reefing on the fly, and shaking thatbreef back out. I practiced different ways to slow my boat down. I had hoped to see the submarine but it had already set sail.
Winds were light again today. One of two students on my bioat passed
We used our 37' Benateau to go through a figure 8 MOB drill and saiied for an hour in the afternoon .

Third day of strong winds and rain. It was cold.
Day 2 of 3 teaching ASA101. The wind was crazy! We started in the morning with a reefed main and jib - blowing 15. It abated by lunchbto 6 knots or so. It continued to drop to 1 knot. Went to 7, then 20, then back down in a matter of two hours.
It was rainy and cold but no boat traffic in Annapolis. My phone went overboard.
Ran the rhib to photograph some Rainbows then went sailing. Spent a lot of time watching how one person could refloat a sunken rainbow.
