Spent the day kayak fishing with Eric Packard on Smithville Lake in federalsburg, MD. Eric and I are both competing in the CCA Pickerel Tournament. We caught and released dozens of fish, including three citation sized fish over 24-inches. Great day on the water!

2019 has been a great year! I've spent most of my time kayak fishing on the Bay and this year I caught two fish species for the first time: spanish mackerel and yellowfin tuna. The year is not over yet!!! Best part of winter boating is having the water ALL to yourself. Just remember to gear up with the proper safety equipment!
