Afternoon SUP. To Little Magothy Inlet Marks then towards Magothy and Deep Creek green and back. Back on Black Project paddle. Met community paddlers on the water and stopped to chat on way out and back.

Lunch time SUP. Little Magothy Inlet marks to LM tour, finishing just as rain started in earnest. Used trial Quick Blade Stingray paddle. Nice paddle, unconventional, average times similar to my Black Project paddle, but a lighter feel and very nice catches.

Late afternoon Christmas Eve SUP with Greg. Loaned him both paddles to try, including the Quick Blade Paddle from East of Maui. Leisurely tour of the Little Magothy. Saw pretty cool beaver dam.

Late afternoon SUP in the light rain and fog before the bigger part of the coming storm. Little Magothy Inlet Marks to LM tour. Some Buffleheads and Mallards, Kingfishers. Earlier saw Snow Geese up high heading to Eastern Shore. Large flocks of Canada Geese came into the LM area on second half of paddle. Not as many of the Winter ducks as usually seen this time of year.

Afternoon SUP with Greg. Insanely foggy and calm. Little Magothy tour, saw Snakehead near surface - drifted over it as it went to the bottom, could see it because the water is clear. Poked it with my paddle and it bumped Greg's board as it took off on its escape path.

Singlehanded sunset/moonruse sail on Tri-Pawed. Breeze was dead in Magothy so headed out into the Bay. Elected to turn around at shipping channel as ships coming from both directions and not confident of wind/speed to stay out of their way. Headed back into Magothy and caught some dying zephyrs for a nice bit of ghosting up the river. Headed for home under the moonlight. Didn't want for it to end...
