Quick SUP after morning meetings. Little Magothy tour, good morning workout.
Century Club: Keith Chapman
Took the Whaler to drop the oyster babies on Noah's Reef. Then took Jackie and the dogs for a ride back to the launch ramp. Her first time on the Whaler!
Morning SUP. Little Magothy Inlet marks to a LM Tour, then back to the inlet marks and beach. Watched a group of multihulls leaving the Magothy heading out to Baltimore Light for a race start. Going to have to get my stuff together and get back out racing on the tri...
Another singlehanded late afternoon sail on Tri-Pawed. Headed across the Bay and back, absolutely beautiful afternoon on the Bay.
Evening singlehanded sail on Tri-Pawed. Up into the Magothy for the sunset and back. Started out as a light evening and then really freshened as I headed for the Little Magothy.
Maintenance day. General maintenance and bottom scrub for the trimaran.
Morning SUP before work. Little Magothy Inlet marks to LM tour. Snowy Egrets, Green Heron, Great Blue Heron, and a Bald Eagle! Then some maintence on the trimaran - replaced the leaking fuel tank. Finished the washdown kit by adding a hose storage tube. Used to wash out the storage areas in the cockpit while changing the tank.
Finished cleaning the trimaran using the portable washdown kit (I'm loving this invention…). Took an afternoon sail with Dan and Erin, across the Bay and back. Good times.
Maintenance Day. Finished the functional parts of my portable washdown system, and tested it by starting to clean the carpet of seagull poo that had been laid down on the trimaran. Pump works great, very helpful given there is no running water at the pier, and I don't want the extra weight permently installed on the boat!
Morning SUP before work. Took a different path by heading out to the Magothy River channel. There I was treated to hanging out with a pair of Bald Eagles on the Green mark near a vacated Osprey nest. Caught the Pride of Baltimore still anchored off Gibson Island. Short Little Magothy tour to finish. Firday night YCCSC race on Greg's Liberty. Another light-ish night, but a good result!
