Morning SUP before work. Little Magothy Inlet Marks to MRSA mark B, to Lake Claire Green, and back to LM Inlet beach. Very good pace with a mostly relaxed cadence.

This morning's pre-work paddle around the Cape shore and Little Magothy served up some the sights that showcase why this place is just a little slice of paradise. Big thing is seeing an Osprey - from a distance I thought it was maybe a Bald Eagle but zoomed in saw that Fall is not yet here! Coming back to the beach and saw Lady Maryland coming out of the Magothy.

Late afternoon solo sail. Headed out across the Bay and back. Very light winds to start, built nicely to a steady south 5+ for the rest of the evening. Beautiful evening on the Bay. Test sailing with the new cockpit seats, very nice addition.

Completed replacement of power trim unit. Did a little clean up and went for a test ride. Out into the Bay to hang around Baltimore Light, then a run up the Magothy to watch for the Comet. Barely saw that, but caught another spectacluar moonrise. New trim worked flawlessly.

Sunset SUP. Little Magothy Inlet marks to short LM tour. Also earlier in the day, more work on the Whaler - replaced the bilge pump and painted over the epoxy filled old motor mounting holes.

Maintenance. Prepped and filled old engine mounting holes found in the transom after rmoving the trim unit. Cleaned holes, filled with West 610. Stared work on removing the old non-working bilge pump.

Spent the day at the sailboat show. Caught up with friends, and got a lot of good info on some products and a future new boat from Nacra. Stocked up on replacement gloves and stuff. Saw a couple boats I can dream about. Made sure I got a good number of Pussers Pain Killers for what could be the last time at a boat show...

East of Maui Boat Show Social Paddle. Put in at Horn Pt park, paddled around the show and up to the end of Spa Creek. Good group, very fun. Finished the day doing more work on the Whaler power trim. Got the remaining piece of lower shaft out of the bracket by drilling numerous holes in the plastic bushing to destroy it enough for the pin to be removed. Success on that, now need to do other repairs to the area before installing the new unit.East of Maui Boat Show Social Paddle. Put in at Horn Pt park, paddled around the show and up to the end of Spa Creek. Good group, very fun. After went to Wild Country Seafood to pick up some fresh flounder filets and scallops for dinner as well as a rockfish sandwich for lunch. Finished the day doing more work on the Whaler power trim.
