Sailed over to Old Bay Marina at Sparrows Point on Artemis II with Mikey, so we could help Matt and Anna get some things together on their boat Skylark. The boys messed around with the fuel tank, and Anna and I added a coat of varnish to the exterior wood surfaces on the boat. Sailed back to Baltimore on Artemis with James and Rachael and JuneBug.

Mikey joined me as I took this guy Brandon out for a sea trial on the Silverton Convertible that I made my home for the first 5.5 years I lived in Baltimore. The hydraulic steering went out and locked the rudders so the boat wanted to go to port and steering with the transmissions was not effective. To turn to starboard, I needed to put the starboard engine in reverse. Brandon was researching the issue with the steering as we wre having trouble, and he still bought the boat. She is in good hands!
This was the first time I trimmed the headsail on a J70. First day was a bit rough, but had some improvement after the second day. Still plenty to learn. :)
When putting up the main, we realized there was a ~1' tear along the leech of the sail, so we dropped the sail and just motored around to spectate.
Took my niece to her first concert! Penny, Amanda, Mitch, Megan, and Leslie all met up with me at the DSC and I took us over to Pier 6 where we rafted up with some kind people since Pier 5 dockage was full. Went back to the DSC after the opener to scoop up Mikey, Todd, Forrest, and Susannah and then we anchored out for the rest of the show. Alicia was phenomenal!!!
