Race two of the Fall series. A great evening of match racing against Oh SHeet, managed to find a better tack at the last mark and went from 6 boat lengths behind to 30 seconds ahead at the finish. 2nd for this race!

Cleaned bottom with help of Will H then finished a very fast race in the evening. Messed up the start so was in with group so about 2 minutes slow getting arund the course. 6th for the evening.

Stayed aboard overnight for ealy light start for Chesapeake Lighthouse cruise with Lucky Star and 3/4 Time. U/way at o600 and returned to NOB at 1800 after 64 nm trip. Single handed max speed seen was 7.3 knots sog.One T storm at 1600 required reducing sail to storm jib only. Then motered in after wind died at 1630.

Race 5 of the Summer Series with thunderstorms around. Caught a nice wind-shift at a perfect time and ended up finishing with the White Fleet. Another 1st which makes us solidly in 1st plae for this series. Only 1 second corrected behind the White Fleet winner.

Spent Saturday prepping boat for the trip to Cape Charles underway on Sunday with a nice down-wind ride over. A great party on the afternoon of the 4th and fireworks over Cape Charles marina. Returned to NOB on Wednesday with light wind motor-sailing.

Instead of racing, Skymark was out for an evening cruise with Andrew Perry and his new-to-sailing Wife, Kayla, around Willoughby Bay. Winds were strong enough to really get some nice runs in but not too exciting. Picked up mark left over from previous week's race.
