We sailed the boat back to our home marina after spending the winter on the hard at Zimmerman Marine. It was so nice to be back on the water with great winds and a fast sail!

Maintenance Day down at Zimmerman Marine in Cardinal, VA in preparation for splashing the boat and getting back on teh water!
At the boat to finish winterizing systems. All done except engines and potable water system (needed for transit to the boatyard in late December). Also worked aloft and replaced the ultrasonic wind sensor. Quite cold working aloft in the November wind!
At boat to start winterizing systems (generator, A/C units, etc.). Marina getting emptier as boats get hauled out or head south..
Motored to Herrington Harbour South to fill tanks for winter and show the Leopard 48 to another interested sailor. Great day although a bit chilly.
Herring Bay run to enjoy the gorgeous weather, go to pump-out pier, etc. No complaints about a weekend like this in September!
35th Naval Academy Reunion in Annapolis. Great boating with friends and family!
Great sailing day! Good winds and seas, not too crowded. Sailed over to Poplar Island anchorage for lunch and returned to Herring Bay.
Mast maintenance including pulling wind sensor.
Maintenance Day. Always stuff to fix on the boat.
