Got the kayak repaired in Ocean City at Ocean City Kayak by Dean Lokey, a true master craftsman. Patched the hole and then put an alligator patch on top of the repair. He said repair should be good for a decade, it looks bullet proof. Tried out the repair at 68th Street in Ocean City on the Assawoman Bay. Put in at 68th Street, paddled to 67th Street and then up to 75th Street and back. Wind was from the East at 6 mph and the temperature was 73 degrees fahrenheit.
