Chews Creek off of the Chesapeake Bay by South Beach in Tower Gardens. Wind from NW at 3 to 4 mph, temperature 34 degrees fahrenheit.
Drove to Ocean City to turn off the circuit breaker to the house. On the way back stopped in Oxford to put in the water onto Town Creek. Wind was 20 mph from the Northwest, I was able to hug the lee shore of Town Creek so I could paddle for 0.5 hours before it got dark and cold. My hands were cold.
Rained all day, went over to Romancoke On the Bay and put in. Paddled for about 10 minutes, wind from the Northeast at 9 mph so water was a little choppy. Made 0.2 nautical miles, but decided to abbort at that location. Went over to Chews Creek by South Beach in Tower Gardens. Paddled for 0.8 nautical miles for a total of 1 nautical miles. Would have continued but it got dark. Wind over there was from the Nortwest, temperature 39 degrees fahrenheit.
Romancoke On The Bay Clubhouse launch, padldle to Cove Creek Marina and back then north to the fishing pier and back.
Most of the ice has melted in the Marina. It was raining a little, 43 degrees but the wind was calm.

Temperature 37 degrees fahrenheit and win 3 to 4 mph from NE. Had to chop ice with my paddle for 10 to 15 minutes to get out to where the water was liquid. Used my kayak as an ice breaker.
