Wind was 25 mph, gusting to 35 mph from the WNW and temperature was 32 degrees. Probably should not have gone out, but did anyway. It was very windy, for the most part I was able to stay out of the wind, but on the way back I had to cross an area with some high winds. I decided rather than fight with winds I would go with the flow and ended up on the other shore.
Had to walk about 1 mile back to the truck and then drive back to pick up the kayak. Not a big deal, but even walking in that wind was a little difficult. Fortunately I was dressed for the event.
