Bob and Ruth sailed from Oxford to Cambridge on Saturday, 12.3 miles, wind 9 to 18 knots, 2.5 hours on the water, 90 degrees. On Sunday we sailed back to Oxford, 11.6 miles, 2.5 hours, wind mostly 10 to 15 knots gusted to 18 knots, 90 degrees fahrenfeit.

Tried a SUP board for the first at Paddle Cove at 67th Street in OceanCity, Maryland. I was pleasantly surprised with my success. I had thought about it for years and watched others succeed or fail as the case may be. I had thougth about the old adage "old dogs and new tricks". Paddled for the hour and had enough. It was quite stressful. Temperature was 95 degrees and a wind of 5 mph from the SouthEast. I ended up in the drink a couple of times but the water was warm and no harm occurred.
Drove to Oxford, Maryland to Campbell's Bachelor Point Marina to discuss some issues with the "Island Bee". Then continued to Ocean City. Put in at 69th Street and paddled around Assawoman Bay. Wind was 9 mph from the SouthEast and the temperature was 75 degrees.
