Tried a SUP board for the first at Paddle Cove at 67th Street in OceanCity, Maryland.  I was pleasantly surprised with my success.  I had thought about it for years and watched others succeed or fail as the case may be.  I had thougth about the old adage "old dogs and new tricks".  Paddled for the hour and had enough. It was quite stressful.  Temperature was 95 degrees and a wind of 5 mph from the SouthEast.  I ended up in the drink a couple of times but the water was warm and no harm occurred.
