I can't figure out how to delete this one....
Century Club: PJ Kaiser
Had the boat put back in the water in Amelia Island on February 6 and we proceeded down to Saint Augustine where we spent a week wandering around and sightseeing. We were on a mooring ball at the city marina – great experience and we got married! From Saint Augustine we went back to Jacksonville where we spent a few days at a marina and then proceeded back to Amelia Island, Saint Simons Island, Charleston, and various another places until we got back to Annapolis Landing Marina on March 27
We had Hide Aweigh hauled out on Jan 6 for prop and shaft repair as well as bottom paint. That gave us the opportunity to make some other exterior repairs, as well as interior maintenance.
Went at end of 2020 from Savannah, GA to Amelia Jan 1-5
**Edited to add some clarification: On December 3, 2020, we left Annaoplis for Charleston for Christmas, not knowing that we would be at the beginning of fufilling a dream that my (now) husband has had for years-- completing America's Great Loop. For anyone who doesn't know, it is the circumnavigation of the Eastern 1/3 of the US that stretches approximately 6200 miles. Once we spent Christmas with family, we decided that, since we were already that far south, we should go down to our hailing port, Amelia Island, FL. We then wandered down to St. Augustine.
The next several entries detail our journey from Savannah, GA to our arrival in Amelia on Jan. 1st to St. Augustine and back to Annapolis. On June 17, 2021, we started north, not really planning to complete the Loop, but somewhere around mid-July, we decided to just keep going. We telework full time, so the only thing we need is cell service or WIFI for internet.
