Got out in the dinghy for an hour or so testing our the Torqueedo. It rolls out fine, but is deep for the dinghy. Hopefully it will work on the CD.

Got out on the boat Friday evening anchored at the college. Saturday I sailed a few miles to a sailing friend's celebration of life. From there sailed to Price cove for an anchor and dinner. After sufficeintly blackening sausages on the grill I ate them.... it was all I had! Picked up the hook Sunday morning and sailed home on the Jib alone, the wind picked up and I was able to hold 4.8 on the jib.
Waited for the weather to cool a bit and threw the Dinghy into the water for about an hours row. Beautiful sunset, dead calm.
Planned to leave on Friday afternoon, but the weather prediction made early Saturday look better. Sailed to Solomons and met up with some buddies. Threw my buddy a 50th birthday party at SMSA. Sailed home Sunday with a spinnaker set from PLO to the mouth of the St. Mary's.
Got home and got off the dock. Nearly no wind, but I kept the boat moving at a thrilling 1-2 kts. LOL
I only made it to the end of St. George's Island and back, it was enjoyable albeit slow.
It was a beautiful evening with favorable winds allowing me to sail all the way into and through Smith Creek. Anchored ovenight and sailed home the next day. I passed 2 home built CLC sailing boats, they were really pretty coming down the river.
Barely beat the low tide off of the dock, as soon as I got sails hoisted the wind died, I mean flat died! I managed to lope along at .5-1 kt. Managed to find some sticky water with my keel, but motored off with no issues. Sailed out to the end of St. Georges island and back.
Paddled about 3 hours on the creek and inlets. Returned home in time to grind blisters on the Cape Dory and to make it to the crew meeting at SMSA.
Got out for a kayak trip with the CMM kayak group. Back creek and Mill creek then back to shore for lunch. About 2 hrs on the water.
Sailed to cornfield harbor, then turned to go to Saint Mary's. Sailed up past the basin to find protected waters for the evening. Bad storms overnight, dragged anchor 6 times. It was a rough night, but lessons were learned. A new anchor just moved up on the priority list! The winds blew the water out of my cove, had to anchor to wait on the tide.
