I delivered the Sailing School team down to Parrish Creek to fetch the rest of our big boats. It was Aella's second ever boat ride.

We took our big rib down to Parrish Creek Marina, finished painting where the jack stands were and came home.
We had a plan and stuck to it. We had a great race and finished 4th, but only 20 seconds or so out of 2nd. We were a little late for the start and then got caught in some wind shadows on the downwind leg, but otherwise about as good as we could do. Lots of fun!
An interesting day on the water. Our boatspeed was better but we had a bunch of new people in new positions so it took the whole first race to get the teamwork going. In the second race we were over early so started about two minutes behind everybody. It was a beautiful day though and great to be out there.

We made a plan to play the middle for puffs and oscillations. We made a plan to not stray too far from the line so we wouldn't be late in the flukey conditions.
We got too far from the line and then started 1:30 late then saw no preassure on the left so ended up banging the right corner. Of course a persistent lefty took hold over the whole beat and we ended up rounding with the fleet that started 3 minutes behind us.
A beautiful day on the water nonetheles.
We had a decent start and finished fairly well, but unfourtunatley we missed a mark and had to withdraw. It was a great day on the water nonetheless.
I skippered a boat in the Parade of Lights, raced Frostbites and had a coupel of cruises in the Powerboat. Now it's time to go skiing!
We attepted a DelMarVa circumnavigation, motored the big boats to Parrish Creek, raced Frostbites, pulled docks and powerboats.
I cruised the powerboat, got some Sunday Night Racing in, did RC on our Monday Night Races and end of year regatta, raced some with the kids and had a great month on the water. Yay boat show!
