Lots of guestimating making my way around the buoys this morning. I have a compass but never get around to recording the bearings. There were four to six rays off of Bembe Beach at the mouth of Back Creek.

Black vulture at Annapolis maritime museum
Saw maybe a dozen in pairs and singles all over the Severn. Also black vultures at the beach trying to clean up the three or four dead catfish that washed ashore.

There was a smallish horseshoe crab coming onto the beach as I was heading out. I almost skipped this morning because of the threat of rain but my wife managed to get me out the door.
