Sis geese and their goslings were waiting for me at the beach this morning. Three plus YPs left the basin after I rowed past the entrance.

Lovely flat day. Cormorants and ospreys abound.
Only one powerboater on memorial day willfully waked me so I count myself lucky.
...and a wee bit of rain.
Gusty and choppy in the Severn so I rowed up Back Creek as far as Cool Breeze cove past Watergate.
If you are an overtaking vessel under power remember you only have to give way if your autopilot is off. Don't even get me started.
The bare minimum cormorants and seagulls are out this late commuting. One fishing osprey but the rest are on their nests.
Another cruise ship graces our shores. I hailed this one to find out her path. Mostly osprey this morning on their nests.
Okay, I saw one menhaden jump out of the water near Sophie. Otherwise a lovely spring day. Oh also saw a piece of horned pond weed.
Nice row today. Out near #4 a cruise ship tried to sneak up on me but I was awake enough to see it. Same assemblage of osprey, mallards, cormorant, seagull, Canada Geese.
