I went on my first actual race on Team Happy Place and we won! I was on the jib sheet with help from Greg and got dipped in on the rail when we got caught in a squal rounding one of the markers. It was amazing.

To get her ready for the sailing season HP was on the hard and we cleaned, vacumed and transported a van+Tesla load of cushions for deep cleaning.

First Sail ❤️
Took the kids out in the dinghy at St. Mary's. The wind was stronger than anticipated so we did just the main sheet. Our four-year-old was right at the front of bow taking the spray like a champ and professing "I love sailing Mommy!"

I hauled it to a Women Underway Brunch after a 24 hour shift and met Jayne who invited me to go out sailing with them afterwards on Happy Place. And the rest is history...
