I spent half of the day cleaning the last of the snow and ice off of my boats and checking them out after this deep freeze. There was still a lot of ice between me and the open river. I went on a kayak ride and the water was super smooth.

Although it has warmed up a little, my boats are still frozen in. I tried to plan my ride around the rain but that didn’t work out too well for me. Even with the light rain, I had a nice kayak ride for about an hour and a half.

Happy Valentines Day everyone. It was an absolutely Beautiful 50° Day. The South River was perfectly calm and made for a Beautiful evening ride on the pedal kayak.

Yesterday I loaded up the Kayak and put on my safety gear but when I got to the launch site it was really windy and icy, I decided not to go out. Today was beautiful and smooth, I had a great ride.

After 12 days of not being on the water, I was finally able to get out on a kayak. My boats are still frozen in right now but the weather is beginning to warm up a little. I took the pedal kayak out for about an hour, there is still a lot of ice around.

Today marked 365 consecutive Days on the water for me. This was a personal challenge of mine after being frozen out about this same time last year. I think It’s time for a little rest as I wait for the River to thaw.

Today marked 365 consecutive days on the water for me, which was my own little challenge after being frozen out about the same time last year. My boats are completely frozen in right now, and probably will be for a while. The last four days have been very difficult to get on the water. I could never have done it without some of my water friends help, including Alicia, who took me out on the Baltimore Water Taxi in Baltimore, and my friends Will and Shawn who let me go out with them on the Pilot boat for the last three days. The weather has been extremely cold and the forecasters are predicting that the cold will be here for a while. I think I'm actually ready for a little rest, but will be anxiously waiting for a thaw so that I can get back out on the water.

My boats are still frozen in and it’s looking like it will stay that way for a while. I am a few days away from reaching my goal of 365 consecutive days on the water. I was lucky to catch a ride on the pilot boat today, I need 2 more days.

My boats are frozen in now by all of the ice on the River. Today I went to Baltimore and took a ride on the Baltimore Water Taxi, my friend Alicia was the Captain. The snow covered views were awesome as we crushed through the ice in the Inner Harbor.
