'Abilities Adventure' from Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital (+/-12 people) opted to postpone sailing due to high wind. The group toured DSC docks, observed Sonar rigging & reefing at dockside. Toured the visiting skipjack 'Sigsbee' from Living Classrooms Foundation. DSC 'Young Mariners' departed for 3 day cruise aboard 'Sigsbee'.
Volunteer skippers & crew went sailing on Sonar out to Ft McHenry FM mark. Skippers: Mike E., Priscilla H., Albert C. +crew(1). Great weather, windy & gusty. Good practice for mainsail depowering and controlled gybes.

I represented the DF65 class in AMYA sanctioned regatta hosted by the Northern Maryland Model Yacht Club. 18 RC model yachts from 12 different AMYA sanctioned classes competed head-to-head in 10 races on Lake Whittier in Frederick MD. EC12, Star45, IOM, and One Meter class boats took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Other classes included Vintage Marblehead, Vintage Schooner, T27, DF95, and DF65.
Went to Oasis Boatyard-Clinton St w/ Tark, Bill, Rick L., & Charley T. to splash Sunrise and Airborne.
Sailed Sunrise w/ Rick and Charley out to Key Bridge then back to Lighthouse Pt Marina. Nice sail in steady 8-12 kts. Went to Canton Waterfront Park for First Thursday Concert. Watched three DSC TNR Races from propinade in +15kt breeze.
