Sailing on Eternal Hope out of Chesapeake Beach.
Century Club: Jen Hendershot
First day sailing on Eternal Hope as first mate for sailing charters.
We took the kayak out for a nice day trip. We went up into Fishing Creek and we went out into the Chesapeake Bay, which was unusually calm. We saw lots of jellyfish.
We went to the St. Michaels Maritime Museum for an event and we were treated to an unexpected and super nice ride in a beautiful Chris-craft. What a treat!
Took my friend Alan and his boat Seneca down the Chesapeake. We intended to part ways in Hampton, however we got into storms, which was causing a delay which was schedule prohibitive. So we parted ways in Solomons after toughing out some storms and anchoring late. Alan proceeded down the Chesapeake but was unable to get across the ocean due to some technical issues.
Went for day sail with my friend Alan on Seneca.
Worked aboard a sailing vessel out of Annapolis. This day we worked on safety drills, MOBs, etc.
Worked on a sailing vessel as crew for the day. We sailed out of Annapolis.
Worked aboard a tourist cruise as crew for a sailboat out of Annapolis.
Sailed with my friend Alan on Seneca out of Chesapeake Harbour Marina for the day.
