On Monday, Monday NIght Races at Annapolis Sailing school with Jen and Susan. Jen was a great skipper; disappointing to realize we likely would have won if I hadn't made a bad tack on the beat back to the finish line. Very low tide, worsened by north wind pushing the water out of back creek so many of the boats, including ours, ran aground leaving and returning to the dock in the basin
Tuesday, solo sailing a Rainbow, with three tack exit from the basin and excellent docking on return
Wednesday, Katherine and I out for a rainbow sail in brisk 10-15 kt winds. Excellent conditions. When hove to, continued to make way, probably because of current.
Thursday, Dinghy ride down back creek to attend 4th of July party at Sailing school. Good food, and got to admire the Drake tailed wooden boat refurbished by Ben
Friday, Sail with Sam, Rachel, Mona and Eliza on Shadow.
