Casual Sail on our Cal-25; spying on the kids on that Snipe

Took our new friend and new sailor Tony out for a lovely 3-hour tour on the Chesapeake out of Annapolis. No problems today; it was hot, humid weather on shore, but was actually somehow pleasant on the water covered in clothes to shield the sun. Left the dock about 1:45 and encountered a nice breeze. Lots of people out using the water but almost all seemed to be aware of the rules of the road, safety, or general courtesies. Sailed nearly all the way back to the dock.

Best part was sailing beside our 2 daughters who had just finished their first Snipe Race as a combination Skipper/Crew (they've crewed for Snipes for quite a while, but want to develop some Skippering acumen on the Snipe. Izzy Fadullon was Skipper for the 2-day race). Of course, the Snipe class is just a wonderful racing class to be around, and have been supportive.
